Six programs were built around the songs we recorded. The musicians featured were Roseanne Cash, Kate and Anna McGarrigle, Victoria Williams, Jane Siberry, Greg Keelor (Blue Rodeo), Tom Russell, Guy Clark, Laura Love, Garnet Rogers, Oscar Lopez, Cindy Church, Tom Wilson(Junkhouse), Stephen Fearing, Jez Lowe, Paul Brady, Martin Simpson, Lenny Gallant, and Colin Linden.

Songlines Two ran on the CKUA network in Oct/Nov 98. It was rebroadcast on CBC's Radio One network over the summer on Definitely Not the Opera.

Songlines Three

The recordings for the third season began at the 2000 Folk Fests across Western Canada. We talked to Linda Tillery, Dar Williams and Eric Bibb to name but a few. Look for another very interesting series of Songlines. We'll let you know when the new programs will air.

Episode 2 - The Outsider

The storyteller the singer have been a vital part of society, but have often existed a little bit outsider the social norms. Its the view of the outsider, the real distance that allows the songwriter to comment accurately on the world in which they live. Episode two is songs by and about outsiders.
